Environment Canada has issued a Special Weather Statement for the Brantford/Brant-County region for Strong Winds, that is winds gusting up to 80 km/h which could potentially cause damage and fling loose debris. The statement is found below:
Strong winds Tuesday afternoon into Tuesday evening.
Strong southwesterly winds with gusts up to 80 km/h are expected to develop Tuesday afternoon and continue into the evening. The strong winds are forecast to gradually weaken Tuesday night.
Loose objects may be tossed by the wind and cause injury or damage.

It is advised to put any loose lawn furniture away or out of the wind, and to keep an eye out for loose branches or anything that should be removed before the wind does so. Also be aware that there are Wind Warnings issued for the Eglin, Simcoe/Delhi/Norfolk, and Dunnville/Caledonia/Haldimand regions, as well as Huron/Perth. Those regions are expecting wing gusts in excess of 100km/h.
