Ontario Schools Will Start Learn At Home On January 4th

The Ontario Provincial Government announced yesterday that there will be a province wide lock-down beginning on Boxing Day, this will see the schools closed as well for at least one week, longer depending on which board and which grade level.

The Grand Erie District School Board has stated that Elementary students will engage in distance learning from the 4th until the 8th and are expected to return to class on January 11th. Secondary students will sit out the rest of the lockdown at home doing online learning and return on January 25th.

The Brant Haldimand Norfolk Catholic District School Board as of this morning has stated only that students will engage in online learning beginning on January 4th and that more information will be coming.
