Ontario Schools Return To Class On Monday February 8, Except Toronto, Peel, And York Region.

Yesterday afternoon the Minister of Education made the announcement that children in Ontario will resume in-person learning for elementary and secondary schools in all remaining public health units on February 8th, except for three regions: Toronto, Peel, and York Region. Those regions will resume in class learning on February 16th.

The announcement was accompanied by an infographic that the Ontario Ministry of Education posted on their Facebook page.

This is good news for parents who have been struggling with having the children at home and needing to find care for them. But also troubling news for parents who were expecting the COVID numbers to be much lower before the kids went back to class.
