In Germany’s Cologne Bonn airport they have put together some 300 pieces of art to display in a DRIVE-THRU art gallery!
It has allowed 50 artists to display their art in this parking garage, where it turns out that baggage carts are just the right height to display the pieces for people to view as the vehicles pass.
Now, because it is an open air structure pedestrians are allowed inside, though they must wear masks and obey social distancing rules.
Not only can those passing through the impromptu art gallery location enjoy these paintings and sculptures, any that are for sale could be purchased and help support the artists who created them. See more in the video in your Good News Story of the Day here.
It’s another brilliant example of how to repurpose a structure that is otherwise going unused because of the Pandemic.
