Due to the risk associated with large gatherings of people who would be spending long periods of time together the City of Brantford Parks and Recreation Department has made the difficult decision to cancel Harmony Square and neighbourhood parks summer programming and all summer day camps for the following facilities;
- Bell Homestead
- Branlyn Community Centre
- Doug Snooks Eagle Place Community Centre
- Earl Haig Family Fun Park
- Major Ballachey Hub
- Northridge golf
- Ryerson Heights School
- T.B.Costain/SC Johnson Community Centre
- Wayne Gretzky Sports Centre
- Woodman Park Community Centre
This decision was deliberated and considered very carefully as part of the City’s ongoing response to the coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic, and guided by the top priority to protect the health and safety of citizens and staff. They apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
Please remember that camps are not more important than lives and there are plenty of other activities that can be used to fill the days.
