In September 2018, multiple members of the Milwaukee Iron motorcycle group had been involved in a road accident. During that incident Daryn Sturch, a nurse from Chili, Indiana, and her daughter Bryanne came upon the scene near and went to assist in any way she could. The bikers never forgot that moment and kept in touch with Sturch. Which is how, a year later, she found her daughters lemonade stand seeing quite a bigger crowd than expected.
8-year-old Bryanne Sturch had her work cut out for her in a Facebook video showing a host of thirsty bikers come to drink “The best lemonade in the state.”
Bryanne’s mom who shared the video to Facebook, ending her post with the hashtag #GoodPeopleDoExist — and it’s a message Sturch is hoping the video’s viewers take to heart. “My big takeaway is that I really want people to step back and understand that we can look differently, talk differently, dress differently, have different interests… but just because we are ‘different’ doesn’t mean that we don’t share the same core values,” Sturch said. “It’s about respect, love, kindness, and the desire to serve others.” It’s your Good News Story of the Day which you can read here, and a beautiful moment which hopefully brings joy to your heart and a smile to your face.
