Maxime Bernier, the leader of The People’s Party, had a chat with Brian Master last night, talked about his party platform, and focused on his vision for the future.
He says he tried to work with the leader of Progressive Conservative party but decided to branch out and form his own party when he claimed Andrew Scheer wouldn’t listen to any of his ideas.
Mr. Bernier says he doesn’t beleive focus groups or polling is needed to know what they stand for, saying that’s the reason why the PC government doesn’t have a platform, calling them morally corrupt.
Bernier added The People’s Party wants to focus on issues important to Canadians including more economic immigrants and less refugees.
Mr. Bernier, who’s held positions in law, financial and banking fields say the 4 principals his party focuses on are individual freedom, personal responsibility, respect and fairness.
