The Wind Warning has ended though the Blowing Snow Advisory issued by Environment Canada on Sunday continued into Monday morning as it is expected there will still be occasional flurries along with gusting winds this morning.
The Blowing Snow Advisory reads as follows;
Reduced visibilities in local blowing snow continue today.
Flurries and strong westerly winds with gusts of 60 to 90 km/h are expected today. Any fresh snow will be whipped up by the winds creating areas of reduced visibility in exposed areas. Snowfall accumulations are expected to be light.
Conditions will slowly improve this morning as winds begin to diminish.
Travel is expected to be hazardous due to reduced visibility in some locations.
As these effects will lessen as the day continues it is advised you take extra care if you must leave the house this morning and that if you can put off travel that you do so as there are numerous impacts on the roads from this weather.
