Virtual Vigil Friday Night As Nova Scotia Remembers, April 24th 2020

Last weekend in Nova Scotia a terrible act occurred where a man decided to end the lives of 22 others. This act will have a lasting impact on an entire community, Province, and Country. That is why the whole Country has been invited to be a part of an online, Virtual Vigil, this evening.

The vigil will begin at 7 p.m. Atlantic time, (6 p.m. Eastern time) and go for three hours. You do not have to commit to the entire three hours, though there might be good reason to. If you would like to offer your support in a more substantial way you are invited to donate to the Stronger Together Nova Scotia Fund. The Canadian Red Cross will be working with the Nova Scotia Government to ensure support to the individuals, families and communities impacted. Donations can be made online or call 1-800-418-1111 and specify your donation is to the Stronger Together Nova Scotia appeal. Donations by Canadians are tax deductible.

If you wish to participate in this vigil online you can do so through the Nova Scotia Remembers event on the Facebook page called Colchester – Supporting Our Communities.
