Sensitive Santa Returns To Brantford

Every child deserves to experience the whole of the Holiday season even if they cannot experience all the lights, sounds, and sensations without suffering. That is why Sensitive Santa is returning to the County of Brant and the City of Brantford.

Sensitive Santa is an opportunity for children who have any form of sensory sensitivity to have a special visit with Santa is reserved for children in a sensory-friendly environment. This means the lights are dimmed, the music is turned off, and there are no line-ups of screaming, crying, or loud people to contend with. So they invite you to bring your camera to take a photo with Santa at one of the times listed below; but please remember that this is a pre-booked meeting and space is limited.

Dates and locations are:

Sundays in December
December 2, 9 & 16
Lynden Park Mall, 84 Lynden Road, Brantford
Space is limited and pre-registration is required

Sensitive Santa will also be making a trip to Paris on Saturday, December 8 to the Canadian Deafblind Association, Ontario Chapter at 50 Main Street, Paris.

If you would like more information or to register your child for a meeting with Sensitive Santa, please contact the County of Brant Accessibility Coordinator Sheena Yarek by email at accessibility@brant.ca or by phone at 519.442.1818 ext 3204
