Kitchener-Waterloo To Have ‘Reverse’ Santa Claus Parades In November

It looks like Kitchener and Waterloo will be getting their Santa Claus parades after all… sort of.

The Lions Club of Kitchener announced Monday that it will hold two “reverse” Santa Claus Parades this year. One in Kitchener, and one in Waterloo.

With a reverse Santa Claus Parade, the floats remain stationary while spectators drive past them. This will help to ensure physical distancing as everyone passing by will be within their own vehicle.

These Reverse parades will be held from 10 am until noon on November 14th in Kitchener and November 21st in Waterloo.
