Freezing Drizzle Advisory Friday Nov 30

Environment Canada has issued a Freezing Drizzle advisory this morning for parts of Southern Ontario including the areas of Brantford – Brant, Woodstock – Tillsonburg – Oxford County, and Simcoe – Delhi – Norfolk counties. It reads as follows;

Areas of freezing drizzle have been reported across portions of southwestern Ontario this morning. Although precipitation amounts are expected to be light, locally slippery conditions are likely, particularly on untreated surfaces.

The freezing drizzle is expected to taper off later this morning.

Freezing drizzle advisories are issued when drizzle falling in sub-zero temperatures is expected to freeze on contact, and over time create icy surfaces.

Be prepared for slick conditions on the roads if you are driving in any of these regions this morning and tune in on the half hours for updates on traffic. Any bus delay information will also be relayed on air as it becomes available.

For further information on the advisory see Environment Canada.
