Doorbell Cameras have been able to catch some interesting, touching, or amusing moments. And as people remain at home due to the Coronavirus, delivery drivers are being featured more regularly. Which is how this viral video came to be.
The video, which shows a delivery driver in Delaware approaching the door, knocking rapidly three times, shouting a familiar magical phrase, and then sprinting back to her truck, was posted to Facebook by Lynn Deborah Staffieri; whose son had apparently left some interesting instructions on his Amazon order for when it came to the delivery.
It turns out that in the “Do we need additional instructions to find this address?” field of the order the boy had put “No but knock on the door 3 times and scream abra cadabra as loud as you can and run super fast away.”
In the post Staffieri writes “Thank you to this great Amazon delivery woman! Apparently, my youngest son, had put some ‘additional instructions’ for delivery and she went along with it. It made us smile even though my son should not have done that so I apologize for that. I do appreciate that the driver looked closely enough at the instructions though because I know a lot of people wouldn’t. #Amazon #needsomelaughter #makemesmile #thankyouessentialworkers #theellenshow #somegoodnews“
Abra Cadabra, here’s your parcel and a viral video to help everyone smile. Thanks to a dedicated delivery driver.
