12 Days Of Fire Safety Continues

We’ve been following the 12 Days of Fire Safety, by the County of Brant Fire Department, have you? If you haven’t been following the adventures and advice of Pep the Fire Safety Elf and Cinnamon the reindeer then you may have missed some important advice. It has all been taking place on the County of Brant Fire Departments Facebook and Twitter feeds where they have been putting out simple and easy to follow hints and tips that will help keep your holidays happy and your Christmas merry!


The tips, which include keeping combustibles away from fire places, candles, and space heaters, and keeping your tree away from anything that is a heat source as well as well watered and checking all light cords before putting them on the tree; they also recommend extension cords never go under rugs or carpets, and also mention the old stand by safety tips of well maintained smoke and carbon monoxide alarms and a family escape plan.


They have been uploaded at 7 pm each and every day since the campaign began on the 11th and will wrap up Tomorrow; so if you wish to follow along for Tonight (Friday) and Tomorrow (Saturday) you can on their social media pages, you can find the previous uploads below!
